Reign Jesus Reign

 Award-winning recording artist

Lady Voncile Belcher was born to

sing gospel. She was raised in the

small town of Ozark, Ala. as a

preacher's daughter. Her father was

a popular minister and her mother

was a  well-respected missionary.

Lady Voncile grew up supporting the

family business by bringing souls to

Christ through praise and worship.

Her love for the Lord has ordered her

steps, and helped her to launch a

successful career as a professinal

gospel singer.

She later relocated and joined the

City of Rochester Mass Choir. It was

her first opportunity to perform as a

professional singer. The exprience

inspired her to pursue a career as a

professional gospel singer. When she returned home to Alabama, she was introduced to the Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA) Alabama Chapter. The organization helped her to launch her recording career.

Her first project was as a lead singer with the Harris Temple Church of God in Christ, under the direction of

Keith Ellison. She sang the lead vocals on the song “Do You Know Who Jesus Is?”

In 1985, Lady Voncile moved to Atlanta, the center of the gospel music industry, where she continued

in her music career. While in the music studio one day she met a man that would change the course of her life

in music - the Rev. Milton Biggham, then the President of Savoy Records. During that chance meeting,

Rev. Biggham gave her a small piece of paper with three lines that read: " Look Where He Brought Me From." After receiving those words, she sang lead vocals on a track that appeared on the Georgia Mass Choir’s

1985 album "We’ve Got the Victory". The song became an instant hit on The Gospel Billboard Charts and is

still sung across the country in churches even today. As a singer with Georgia Mass Choir, Lady Voncile

also sang lead vocals on the song "Hold To God’s Unchanging Hand," which was also written by gospel

great James Bignon.

Continuing in faith with her gift for song writing and gospel singing, Lady Voncile launched a solo career.

Her first solo album was "Be Strong," which opened the door for more recording projects. She has recorded

four albums including her highly anticipated lastest release "Phenomenal."  Other recordings include  "What a Time" and her project with Low Rush Music entitled “Kourageous."

In 2014, Lady Voncile was recognized as "Traditional Artist of the Year" by the Rhythm of Gospel Awards. She is a contender for more awards. Her music was nominated in three categories in the 2015 Rhythm of

Gospel Awards competition. The Christmas release of Lady Voncile's "A Time to Celebrate" proved as a

seasonal hit with a perpetual impact.

Lady Voncile has since formed her own label, Glory Bound Records. She worked with producers

Tim Fryar, Rodney Edge, and New Me Productions, on a series of single releases

"ALRIGHT” and “I’LL STAND,” which features the Rev. R.L. Bush. The songs are now being played on radio stations in the U.S. and in international markets.

Lady Voncile says her sound is evolving. Her latest work supports her traditional roots, but adds some contemporary flavor. Her musical stylings have been compared to recording legends including Aretha Franklin

and Shirley Caesar.
